PALS Provider Manual

This is the student manual for the traditional instructor-led PALS Provider course. It is the updated manual based on the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and ECC. The manual provides updated content and new illustrations. It providers students with materials to review before the course, a workbook during the course and serves as a reference book for the student after the course.

This student text is 292 pages filled with material such as effective resuscitation team dynamics, the PALS Core Cases, as well as information on topics such as concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamic. This manual also gives students access to a website containing additional information and reference materials to help them successfully complete the course. The provided website information is where the precourse assessment can be found. Copies via CD or paper are no longer available. 

Also included with the text are the required PALS Precourse Checklist and PALS Pocket Reference card containing algorithms, drug doses and information on vital signs in children.
